Richard St. John, disturbed by the fact that he had no idea how to answer the timeless question “What leads to success?” conducted hundreds of interviews of highly successful people in an attempt to boil the results down into a list of the 8 components most essential for success.
One common theme that St. John found was that successful people often have a passion and love for their work. He says that “…they’re not workaholics. They’re workafrolics!” The results from all his interviews was given in a 2-hour long presentation, which has been distilled into a 3-minute Ted Talk.
