I had the recent opportunity to participate in one of BESThq‘s weekly Tuesday morning briefing meetings and I have to say that I was impressed. I participate in dozens of meetings per month and the BESThq meeting had a unique, enjoyable and informative format that I haven’t seen elsewhere. In addition to the requisite participant introductions, Ron White briefs everyone on current events — from international to national to regional, state and local — that could affect them. There’s also often a speaker and there’s discussion of training opportunities and upcoming requests for bids in which the members might want to participate. I’ll definitely try to participate in additional meetings. Definitely worth the time and effort.
